A lot of colorless 7-mana value cards can make an impact just from being casted (see Ulamog and Emrakul earlier in this list) so this can help players cast large Eldrazi creatures really early on
Those payoffs are still relevant in Commander, and Id argue that these cards are largely unknown to newer players and underutilized
You also don't have to cast the card you discover into if you don't want to
