I am guessing they are quite old

I have not touched the wood at all on this piece

It feels as much a sculptural object as a utilitarian one

and a few front pages have small folds in the corners

dating to the late 20th century I believe

Nothing fancy about it, but it is very nicely made, with a great shape, and I believe it is quite old,. Really a radiant little box! 3 1 8" tall x 2 1 8" diameter. On the underside, in purple colored pencil, is written 75 c; I believe from long ago!
